'It is believed that the first birthday cake was made in Germany in the Middle Ages. Cakes originally were bread-like and later became a much sweeter version, called Geburtstagskuchen.'

Each card is Riso-printed with soy-based inks, so every print is a little different — a unique one-off with plenty of character (a touch of offsetting only adds to the charm).
