Eames "Hang-It-All" Playing Cards

Charles and Ray Eames brought a playful spirit to mid-century design, finding unexpected joy in everyday objects. This second edition of Eames Playing Cards celebrates their iconic Hang-It-All wall rack, reimagining its colourful, distinctive design as a deck of cards.

Inspired by the bright colour palette of the early 1950s, the cards echo the original rack’s combination of wooden sticks and colourful balls. The design takes a further playful turn by replacing traditional playing card symbols with numerals, creating a cleaner, more cohesive look. It's a fitting tribute to Charles and Ray Eames’ experimental approach to design, with a minimalist twist that does away with the usual suits and symbols.
