Field Notes: Paletas
Free UK shipping on all orders over £100
Field Notes’ 71st Quarterly Edition, Paletas, celebrates the colourful, frozen fruit treats that are a summer staple in Mexico and beyond.
Inspired by Chicago’s multigenerational Paletaría Los Magos in the Pilsen neighbourhood, the edition explores the traditional, artisanal methods used by owners Norma and José to make their paletas.
Each pack features colourful covers printed on 12pt WestRock Tango C1S stock, finished with a combination of glossy and frosty matte varnishes. Inside are 48 cream-coloured dot-grid pages printed on 60#T Domtar Lynx paper.
The transparent backing card features an illustrated paleta-wrapper design by local Chicanx artist Atlan Arceo-Witzl. A lovely little notebook for summer notes, sketches, lists and ideas.
